Changes to Request List
via Priority

With this late June 2001 rollout, we have included the ability to create products or modify existing products that can be prioritized by high, medium, or low. These are Gold, Silver, and Standard priority levels, respectively. Also, from the Provider side of XpertOnline.net, users can add prioritized messages to accounts or entire requests based on these priorities.

Gold = High Priority = High Priority

Silver = Medium Priority = Medium Priority

Note that, at this time, the Include Related Line Items checkbox does not function. Only the Line Item checkbox functions.

See below for an example of the updated Workflow page (opened from the Action Menu via the Workflow link). This discussion focuses on the area highlighted in red.
*Note that the Workflow page has been updated as of 7.10.01. Click here for changes*

By default, all products you create are assigned a Standard priority. If you assign a Gold or Silver priority at the product level--or by posting a message with a God or Silver priority to an account or entre request--when your Susbcriber/Client orders this product, it will be marked accordingly.

How Get Next button works with Gold, Silver, and Standard priorities

  1. If both the Include Gold Priority Items and the Include Silver Priority Items checkboxes are checked, and you select the Get Next button, XpertOnline.net will search through all unassigned, outstanding items and find the oldest Gold priority item to open. If there are no outstanding Gold priority items, XpertOnline.net will find and open the oldest unassigned Silver priority item. If there are neither unassigned outstanding Gold nor unassigned outstanding Silver priority items, XpertOnline.net will find and open the oldest uassigned Standard priority item.
  2. If only the Include Gold Priority Items checkbox is checked, when you click the Get Next button, the oldest unassigned Gold priority item will open. If there are no unassigned, oustanding Gold priority items, XpertOnline.net will open the oldest unassigned Standard priority item.
  3. If only the Include Silver Priority Items checkbox is checked, when you click the Get Next button, the oldest unassigned Silver priority item will open. If there are no unassigned, oustanding Silver priority items, XpertOnline.net will open the oldest unassigned Standard priority item.
  4. If neither the Include Gold Priority Items nor the Include Silver Priority Items checkboxes are checked, when you click the Get Next button, the oldest unassigned Standard priority item will open.
To see how an RMCR or a Line Item is assigned, and the order that the Get Next will open work, click the Manage Worklist Information link at upper left on this page.
