Adding Sort Orders to Products

When you select an output, the Sort Orders drop down menu will become available. The available choices here pertain to how the serviced report information will appear on the printout. Sort Orders are available for every output, and every output has the same Sort Orders available.

Important Note When setting your Sort Order option, be sure to take into account any services that you have applied to the product. For instance, if you set a service of List and Stack and a Sort Order of alphabetical, the duplicate trade line items will be listed alphabetically, and within each stacking of duplicate trade lines, they will be ordered alphabetically. Be sure to recognize that if both a service and a Sort Order exist within a product, the service and the Sort Order will combine to display the request detail items on the output.

-Alphabetical--this is the default sort order option. You may set your sort order to Alphabetical. This will order your trade line information in alphabetical order. -Declining Balance--this sort order option will order your detail item information by the highest balance to the lowest balance. -Alpha (bal first)--this option will sort your detail items into two groups: those with balances will appear first and those without balances will appear last. Within these two groups, the detail items are ordered alphabetically. -Acct type (bal first)--this option will sort your detail items into two groups: those with balances will appear first and those without balances will appear second. Within these two groups, they are sorted by account type: first is Mortgages; second is Revolving; third is Installment; and fourth is Open. -Alpha (derog first)--this sort order will order the detail items alphabetically with the derogatory items first and the non-derogatory items second. -Alpha (derog last)--this option will sort your printed detail items alphabetically with the non-derogatory items first and the derogatory items last. -Dec Bal (derog first)--your printed reports will be sorted in a high balance to low balance (declining balance) order with the derogatory items first and the non-derogatory items last. -Dec Bal (derog last)--this sort order option will sort detail items in a declining balance order (highest balance to lowest balance) with the non derogatory items first and the derogatory items last. -Open/closed/derog--this sort order option will display the open accounts first, then the closed accounts, then the derogatory accounts lastly. Within each, the detail items are ordered alphabetically.
